Description	:	I've prepared my board with layers of gesso, two on the back and four on the front, sanding down between each layer. The layers on the back are to prevent warpage and I'm careful to gesso the edges also. I've then applied thin washes of Acrylic paint to get the desired background colour, in this case a very dark brown. The next step is to start blocking in the background.'
