Heléne enjoys producing drawings, working with the mediums of lead pencil and coloured pencils.

She has developed a style of working with lead pencil, highlighted with white coloured pencil on a tinted background. Heléne feels the advantages of this working process are its simplicity, requiring only limited equipment and therefore allowing her not to be encumbered by the usual trappings and requirements of painting, including easels, water, brushes etc. Whichever medium Heléne chooses for a piece of artwork however, her style is always very detailed and she always exhibits extraordinary patience in the completion of each unique piece.
