A three day workshop based at the Three Shires Inn in the beautiful little Langdale Valley.
The workshop will involve traveling to predominately Skelwith Bridge and taking in the fantastic painting and drawing opportunities around Elterwater with its breathtaking views of the Langdales, as well as a day spent at the beautiful Blea Tarn.
Heléne will give demonstrations and constant supervision and encouragement to the group of no larger than 12 artists, 9.30am – 5.30pm most days. You will be advised in watercolour and watercolour pencil techniques, including wet on wet, wet on dry and how to achieve a sense of depth as well as advice on sketchbook pencil work.
The workshop involves walking on some undulating terrain but of no great distance from the car park and would suit someone who has possibly painted before but not essential as Helene can accommodate all abilities.
Students must take out their own holiday insurance cover to reflect the above terrain before attending.
You will be encouraged to progress at your own pace as relaxation and enjoyment is the ‘order of the day’ in the Lake District!
Included; accommodation (dinner, B&B), tuition, 3 x packed lunch, use of watercolour pencils, waterpots, palettes, brollies/sun-shades, stools, some easels (please enquire)
